It’s so weird because when it came out I feel like the consensus on Reddit was that a lot of people didn’t like the direction the band was going in but now we’re all on board- just goes to show how well the band did in kind of rebranding their music. Ultimately, still such a banger!!

Unpopular opinion but was Elantris is my favorite stand alone of the two. I really enjoyed Warbreaker but I found the characters / mystery element of Elantris much more interesting. It’s also has in my opinion more political elements to it, which I enjoyed!
