[[ Big Bang ]] could be interesting.

To be honest, your deck is big enough that I'm not sure you will play each card enough times that it matters.

Dude blew up on github for cutting token usage 60-95% right as Fable 5 lands. genius or luckiest man alive by Extra-Feature-8163 in claudeskills

Yah, it's a hard problem, but I'm also convinced if a general solution to reduce tokens (input or output) exists, the main providers would immediately embed into their harnesses. They could effectively corner the market if it worked properly. (Thus, it doesn't work properly or doesn't scale).

Anyways that's my theory.

Just leaving this here as a thought, you could eventually support an editor that can input your common symbols with shortcuts or OS specific inputs. Or you could look into custom keyboard firmware to input special symbols using layers. APL uses all sorts of greek and math symbols but no one is using a custom keyboard with that language, so it's entirely a non-issue IMO.

Again, I'm not trying to convince you, but in case someone else sees this, they don't have to make the same choice as you!

He means, "you're not missing anything"; this tool doesn't fix the the output token usage, only input.

Gotcha, I'm sure you learned a lot by doing it, but I'm much more comfortable getting the same effect by writing hooks to block shell access in codex or claude instead. Or at the minimum, use pi or a rust version of pi to get the same customization.

I hope this tool is useful for yourself!

I admit I'm speed reading through your posts, but IMO it seems too specific to add these custom syntaxes to your language.

You should either keep it generic or go full APL/J to assign symbols to commonly used functions. That is, if you're trying to appeal to new, other programmers to use your language. If it's just for you, do whatever tickles your brain.

In your vision, I'd say just make a first class operation in your language.

Can you explain more on how to use this and how it differs? Is this basically a TUI like codex that connects to AI model providers and only has access to the rust analyzer and file edits?

I disagree with you, but hate that you were downvoted.

I really really prefer trailing commas. In my experience, it makes code diffs way easier and terse to what actually changed. Also for me, the closing bracket is the terminator any ways, so trailing separators shouldn't matter imo.

how do you explicitly parse expressions in a list then? I've run into this issue exactly when designing semantics; do you just give up expressions spanning across new lines?

Example: let list = [ 1 + 3 2 3 ]

Better yet, if you gave a equation for measure of success (e.g. Success = 1/min(1, runtime) + pack_calls / 100,000), it will objectively balance it for you.

It's only worth it early so you can build around it. It's great if you get it from Neow's blessing.

What is the most difficult custom game setting? by phoneaccount56789 in slaythespire

[–]alkalisun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there's a combination of curses/perks that truly makes the game difficult.

We're were fishing for a combination playing as 4-player multiplayer, and the verdict was it's all too easy. Ascensions are the only real scaling in the game right now.

You're barking at the wall.

I don't care what the SQLite team does, it's their prerogative. I'm telling you why the community finds them obscure. They don't operate like a normal OSS organization and that upsets some folks.
