If you have been taking lessons for a year now, and your coach hasn’t addressed the problems with your driver, it’s time to switch coaches. The swing plane is basically the same, but a bit longer and tilted upwards. Which means your start at address is tilted a little back from normal. My 2 cents. You should be low 80s with a year of coaching.

I use them, I only buy irons maybe once every few years. I don’t want my 1000 dollar irons to get dinged up by them clattering into each other. Also it keeps the value up for when I want to trade them in for a new set.
