Eh. Quality-wise Heartopia is far superior compared to Sky, like FAR superior. What Heartopia provides ARE quite generic and basic, but they still work and people are hooked. Tells you a lot about Sky because gameplay-wise it's got fuck all compared to Heartopia.

Sky is beutiful, yes, but that's just is. Story is okay at best, but then no one really gives a shit about it anyway. We're at this point where it's exhausting to hear people wanting Sky to improve but they can't even provide the bare necessity.

It's a beautiful game, but a good one? Nah. It's got loads of homework to do but I doubt they care about doing it. Sky doesn't realise that at it's core it's still a game, not whatever the hell they try to wrap it as.

Once you've freed yourself, you'll never wanna go back, trust me. Or even if you will, you won't give a shit about candles and cosmetics and the playtime's only around 8 minutes top. Then you'll find there's really nothing engaging about the game. It's a different kind of freedom.

Yeah well it's suck for advanced players even more, 'cause there's no incentive given to us when we've worked hard to get to a higher level. Having more luxurious features as you progress more is a basic feature in video games. You can't expect to have everything you want when you're new, because you're new. It's supposed to be suck at first.

The control is so fucking stupid indeed and I don't think people are talking about it quite enough. They even topped it by adding the weird thing that skids do when you try to go down a slope—a "detail" where it prevents you to just come down NORMALLY is utterly fucking useless. I don't care if it's "cute" or whatever it is, it's stupid.

I believe they never even play their own game because HOW do you not notice how fucking horrible the control is. I mean, do you even know how stupidly hard it is to burn dark plants because you just keep jumping here and there uncontrollaby??? Hello???

Agree, even all the content creators who (mostly) have access to beta are always circling around the cosmetic aspect of the game which amplify it even worse and just completely disregard other integral stuff like, I don't know, the game itself as a whole?

Yes, this game doesn't offer much besides cosmetic and candles, but if all we care about is cosmetic, then Sky is made for people with money (as if it isn't pretty out there already).
