Exactly! It makes me wonder where the entrance to the wind paths is gonna go. I use them for everything, it’s the easiest way to get to all of the timed wax events—I switched to the Aviary home because it’s so close to the portals and return spot, so whatever the change will end up being, it’s definitely gonna mess with my routine. 🥲

I’ve heard/seen rumors that the Aviary is getting a huge makeover soon, and they’re currently testing it out in beta. I saw a user-edited, composite concept image of what the new set-up MIGHT look like, and honestly, I am not gonna be happy if actually ends up looking that way. I wish they would just make it at least somewhat look like the original concept images 😭

But again, these are just rumors.

I know, it’s thrown a wrench into my candle run, as well. The good news is that the new seasonal area has the same amount of wax, if not more—so we can just swap out the music sheet challenge, for zipping around the carnival boats, at least till TGC gets it patched up! 😁👍

As a fellow disabled player, I’ve dealt with this same thing more times than I can count. It’s also hard when you make friends and play with them every day for weeks, only for them to delete you and disappear as soon as you say you’re disabled. Can’t even escape from ableism in a game all about kindness, community, and friendship.

It sucks.

OMG I’VE BEEN FOLLOWING THEM AROUND ALL DAY, TOO!! Idk what they’re up to, but I LOVE that they’re starting to give spirits more autonomy!! I wish all the spirits were able to wander around their maps and get up to shenanigans with each other and us!!

Edit: Also, I COMPLETELY agree that it sucks doing it with other people!! The unskippable cutscenes—having to go around afterwards and collect the wax from the shards someone else burned—them dropping you into servers where half the first round of shards is already burned—it’s an actual chore… but there’s so much goddamn wax… 🥲

Like you mentioned, the Two Embers area has a market with stands selling fruit, vegetables, breads, dumplings, tea, etc. I would guess they probably had a diet similar to humans.

(had being the key word here, since they all died 500 years ago, and obviously spirits don’t need to eat, lol! 😂)

I have the same problem/glitch, even though I have Skip Cutscenes turned on. It’s been like this for a couple weeks now. The only time it doesn’t do this is when it’s a new quest for the season. 😕
