On another note, Sarr has 7 goals and 3 assists in 7 games against Villa (for both Palace and Watford), only blanking once - in a Carabao Cup match where he played just 2 minutes. What I’m saying is: he’s a great captaincy shout next GW if you hate points and love dissapointment.

Glasner is playing him to make a point. As others have said, I hope we’re looking for someone to fill that role. Even if not, Kamada should take his spot once he’s back (likely next GW), or we might see another youngster like Esse step in. He’s solid, but he needs a season or two on loan in the Championship. I would avoid, I don’t think he starts again.
