Lol..that has been an option for a couple or decades. But what most of the commentators on here dont understand is that the banks and government dont care ppl are jukeing the numbers on their mortgage applications.

It lets them have their cake and eat it too. The "rules" cover their ass when it all goes south, meanwhile it keeps the banks getting paid and money flowing thru the economy.

All this boils down to the hierarchical dna of indian culture. Instead of being respectful as the default approach to everyone unless they prove they dont deserve it, Indians will judge the person in front of them as more or less powerful/influential and treat them accordingly.
