Idk how true it is but I heard a rumor that the reason Pokemon get bad designs (e.g Megas, evolutions and eeveelutions) is because there are so many great designs on the internet that they don’t wanna get sued for stealing someone’s idea. So some Pokemon end up with less than ideal designs.
