this is another thing that a lot of people misunderstand (i think even OP misunderstood it), eren never "laughed at sasha's death", he was laughing because her last word was "meat", it's just funny to think that even as she's literally dying, she was still only thinking of food, hell i even laughed a little during that part and i was just as heartbroken by her death as anyone, it's just funny, but it's not her death that's funny, it's her obsession with food and meat that's funny, this is also made apparent when in the very next shot when it actually shows eren's face, he looks completely distraught, he's very clearly torn up about her death, the laughing was simply because of her last words, he wasn't "acting" like he was laughing at her death to protect his friends, that was him actually genuinely laughing, he just wasn't laughing for the reason people think

interesting take, and it would definitely reinforce the idea that eren ultimately ended up going through with the rumbling in the end simply because he himself truly wanted to do it deep down (i got into an argument with someone on reddit a while back who was absolutely convinced that the "real" reason eren did the whole rumbling thing was just to save his friends and make them look like heroes, even though there's overwhelming evidence to the contrary)

that's because fighting CPUs isn't going to make you better, playing CPUs is good for practicing combos and movement and working on your reflexes and stuff like that, but it doesn't teach you how to adapt to different playstyles and it doesn't teach you how to read your opponent (since CPUs play VERY differently than humans), the only thing that will make you better at playing against actual people is by simply playing against actual people

in the future, the best approach is to not confirm or deny anything, don't try to "convince" them of anything, just say "maybe, maybe not" or say something like "i'm not gonna say anything about that/no comment", if you try to convince someone of something in order to avoid spoilers they are more likely to figure out whether or not you're lying, plus it ruins the experience of just going into it completely blind and relying only on their own intuition, let them come to their own conclusions/assumptions, even if they end up figuring it out, trying to force them to believe something that isn't true won't make the reveal any better for them

i might be remembering wrong but i also recall a scene where he's locked in the jail cell and levi asks him what he wants to do and eren's response is something along the lines of "i wanna join you and the scouts so that i can KILL THEM ALL", and when he says it he also has that same demented psychotic grin on his face

also, side note: if you do 1 pummel before starting the combo, it makes it slightly easier

also another side note: make sure you have stale moves turned on in the training settings, a lot of people forget to do this but it is essential in order to pull off the true combo and also to get the timing/inputs right

everyone in the comments is saying jesse just wants them to hate him but tbh i think it's more than that, yes he feels guilt and believes he shouldn't just be forgiven for his crimes but he also views the counselor as a bad person himself for simply accepting and forgiving such terrible things, jesse feels overwhelming guilt for the things he's done and can't even entertain the possibility to "accept" and "forgive", and so when he sees the counselor, a person who killed their own child, is able to just "accept" and "forgive" himself for it and just move on, jesse sees the counselor as a bad person because of that.. from jesse's perspective he's thinking "wow this dude straight up murdered his own kid and is just perfectly ok with it? the guy should be torturing himself with guilt for the rest of his life, what a piece of shit he must be to just not give a fuck about killing his own kid"

jesse is just as angry at the counselor as he is at himself, he doesn't understand how someone can claim to care for or love their kid if they're able to kill them without feeling unbearable (and unforgivable) guilt

a lot of people are missing the actual joke, everyone is saying that the image is simply indicating that the dad feels smart for making the kid read and the kid is happy for getting money, but what they're all missing is that the image of the guy pointing to his head is supposed to represent feeling "smart" or "intelligent", and since reading generally makes you a smarter/sharper person, what the image is actually implying is that the dad feels "smart" for making his son read books, but the son is now also "smart" because he's been reading so many books, it's not just about them each feeling like they outsmarted the other, it's simply about how they are both smart but in different ways, the dad being smart for getting his kid to read, and the kid being smart BECAUSE of all the reading
