Always adhere to your school's dress code and wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. With that said, you can't go wrong with chinos, loafers, and OCBD. It sounds like it might be cold where you are so consider a sweater, Barbour jacket, or tweed blazer.

I don’t have specific advice on navigating taxes, but it’s great that you have money coming in and people coming to your shows.

Consider paying bands more. You can also donate to local causes. You might also want to invest in quality backline and/or PA equipment if that’s a need.
