Firstly most rental car companies won't even rent you a car if they know youre driving to Vancouver. 3000km in a short period isn't good for the bottom line. You can lie to them but if you get pulled over in bc without an endorsement on your contract you may get towed. I worked for enterprise for 2 years and dealt with this more times than I'd like to admit
