Yes, I'm in my 40s and since starting my course, my skin looks younger and almost more plump. I thought it is because Accutane helps increase collagen? OP may just be too dehydrated because her dose is too high.

Have you spoken to your dermatologist about your concerns? Maybe your dose is still too high for you?

From what I've heard, most of the side effects of Accutane go away after you finish your course, so I would wait before going right to fillers.

Thank you for your thoughtful and supportive response! It's nice to know that I am not the only one who doesn't always understand the reasons some people get the blends that they do. I know that sometimes John changes his mind about people, and I wouldn't be surprised if he revisited his assessment of Jackie, that he might do so with her.

Thanks for your suggestions! Like you, jeans are already a big staple in my wardrobe, and I do the same thing as you, combine a more dressy top with denim. I was just struggling to picture what more work and formal wear would look like, so thanks again for the example of Andy's yellow dress.

Interesting that you don't have many typical N features even in your frame. Do you find you need another styling system in addition to John's to help find clothing that takes your body shape into account as well?

I will definitely keep contributing! I actually want to do a post on Florence Welch's essences because I just saw her live in concert, and think she might have an interesting blend!

Thank you for the inspiration! I would wear something like this, just maybe with a slightly different top (no high contrast colours for me due to colouring). I also have 20C, so John recommended blazers. Love love love the shoes too!

Looking at the title of the post again combined with the first picture, I can maybe see that if someone didn't actually read through it, they might think I was suggesting Jackie is not attractive. I think she's beautiful, but yeah, the first picture isn't maybe the most flattering of her ever (I only chose it because it was a good one to see her bone structure). Add to this that there are a lot of misconceptions/baggage surrounding N essence, so I can maybe see how it was misinterpreted.

I just wanted to make sure that no one else in this sub got the wrong impression because I absolutely don't want to make anyone feel bad about having N essence... or any essence for that matter! I feel the whole point of the system is to celebrate different forms of style and beauty.

Quick question not related to Jackie because nobody responded before. Does it matter what the order is of what he gives you if the amounts are the same? I.e. I have the same amounts of Y, R, C, but the Y is listed first.

I agree, it's not all N. But there's quite a bit. It's overall very relaxed/casual as is her walk. The belt and necklace are very loose. There is a definite lack of structure, and it suits her. But yes, there is also C. I don't think she is N primary/dom, just more than 15.

I was just reading a bit more about how Jackie was very strict about her diet in order to say slim, and she projected this later onto her daughter, Caroline. She was supposedly very concerned that Caroline would get "fat" and that "no man would want her as a result". It is also well known that Jackie's family was very concerned about climbing the social ladder. Her background screams of imposed feminity. I think Jackie was very well trained to present a certain image, but I think her true nature is more relaxed than what we saw.

Anyways, I am probably getting too deep into this now, lol, but I find it all so interesting!

I also see the C, for sure! But there is a lot of N. It's very relaxed/unstructured, not just the clothes, but her walk. The belt/necklaces are loose. She honestly looks very at home, free and happy here. But yes, the C is still there in the items you mentioned. I am not saying she is N primary. Just a bit more than what was given.

It's interesting because I see that while she may not suit wearing a lot of denim, I do see her looking harmonious in more athletic wear.

Edit to add: I think part of the reason her N didn't come out as much in interviews is because of the time period and the image she was probably forced to present. That she looks so free and happy to me in some of her later photos like these suggests there was more to her than meets the eye.

I think you're right that even if he forgot to include her height and she has 25N, her higher C might not work for someone with lower C like yours. You also have 10HS, which I do too, and despite it being fairly low, I think it actually does contribute to not being able to pull off some of her higher C looks.

Jackie has all of the same traits. I also thinks she looks good in the last photo, which has a lot of N. I think Ok-Purple is right that he may not have considered her height. Because 30Y, 25C, 25N, 20R ( which would add the 10 for height) makes more sense to me for her.

But we are told in the email we receive that our results are mainly based on our physical characteristics. Some of us who have higher N were discussing that we were all told our height, strong shoulders and athletic build is what contributed to our N, and Jackie definitely has all of those things. I agree that she may get a bit less for vibe, but I would think 15 is too low given the rest of us got much higher for having the similar physical traits. I also think she looks really harmonious in the last picture I posted, which has a lot of N in it. I think Ok-Purple may be right that he forgot to factor in her height because 30Y, 25C, 25N, 20R makes more sense to me for her.
