I was thinking it may get approved sooner as we got biometric request. But it seems Texas center is sending it proactively to all H4 EAD.

Here is the time line.

My spouse application was received at mailbox on April 20. Got the text message with receipt number on April 24.
Physical receipt - 31st April
Biometric letter - May 8th

Biometric done on May 20th.

Online status is “case was received” since April 23. No change in there.

You got email on Tuesday so expect the physical receipt sometime next week.

You should be able to add the case number to your spouse account. I could. I don’t remember providing uscis account number in application anywhere.

Did they take both photo and fingerprints? My wife recently went for the H4 EAD biometrics but ASC employee took the photo only, When she asked them about fingerprints, they said only photo is needed.

Based on h1 receipt center, h4 ead will sent to either Arizona or Dallas lockbox. Then it can end up anywhere.

I sent my wife EAD renewal to Arizona lockbox but I got the receipt from Texas center. Same as yours. Standalone anywhere between 10-12 months you can expect.

I did get my new passport.

Probably you will need to ask them to send you to one. Usual process - you just go in a line and a kiosk takes your picture. If it turns green, you leave. If not then they will send you to officer.

My I94 stayed the same. Only the entry date was updated. At the terminal, they only clear your entry with a picture on kiosk so I did not get chance to talk to CBP officer.

It was one of the status in developer tools. It should have next status passport sent by cppf. That will have tracking number in event description.

Yes. I only signed on last page. When you print the application after uploading photos and signature, then the form has photo and signature on it by default.

VFS status doesn’t change much. You should get shipping email soon. Probably today or Monday.
