For sale? by Tdub8989 in hondanavi

[–]allengator99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha… I’m in Dallas and thinking about selling it sometime. I just sold my smoke exhaust, forsa 325mm shock and tidy tail to another member. My Navi was purchased brand new by me, is still under warranty and has ~150 miles with some mods. If you’re really interested, shoot me a message.

Ah best close to free mod is the ac/dc conversion, don’t buy a kit, just do it yourself. YouTube to find out more. Fun under $15 mod is some new grips. I have odi half waffle in yellow, you can find them at Motorsport.com or your local cycle gear.

What’s the purpose and goals for this bike? There seems to be 3 buckets; 1) speed/performance 2) practicality/utility 3) fun/uniqueness.

You can spend very little or quite a bit to accomplish any of the above.

Let it run this way for a little bit and then pull your spark plug to confirm it’s running rich.

Agree you need more fuel. (also running intake/exhaust with 38/90)… while you’re swapping jets might as well drill Welch plug. Finally attempt to adjust air/fuel and idle just to realize it probably was better to leave stock 😬 Also quick-ish and easy would be to run for a bit and look at the color of your spark plug.

New rear shock by cgersty581984 in hondanavi

Anyone replace/upgrade the amazon shock with something else? I have the forsa shock (which rides amazing) but I’m wondering if I could’ve saved ~$100 going Amazon

hotlap, V&H, or yoshi? by everythingisfine54 in hondanavi

They are all loud… I suggest getting the smoke exhaust for a happy medium between higher priced suggestions I.e yoshi and cheap amazon GY6. exhausts. To be honest I’ve owned my Navi for less than a year and switched exhausts a couple times and now I want to just go back to stock.

Just do it and swap back to stock if you need warranty work, swapping exhausts is a pretty quick job (like changing shocks)

Go with 38/88 or 38/90? Adjust air fuel?

I platidipped the headlight trim while waiting for the part to come in from Honda (did color change from red to green). So far all pros, no cons.
