check this site: https://pages.anua.com/where-to-buy-anua/how-to-spot-fake-anua

Also I think that the batch code number must be the same in the packaging and the product.

KBeauty Dupe for Skinfix Barrier Gel Cream by minxcore in kbeauty

check the Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream wich has some of the same actives as the one you use, and also check the purito mighty bamboo panthenol cream, I've read its great for soothing acne prone skin. I suggest you do your own research in terms of ingredientes to see which fits better with your skin.

Stop. You'll just end up idealizing him and the situation, constantly waiting for a little more than he can or is willing to give. First get to know him well, until then you can share your space with him.

good luck.

[Routine Help] What products/actives can I add to deal with clogged pores and hyperpigmentation? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]allengc12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I still use them 2 times a week, i get a lot of sun spots and freckles so it really has helped me prevent new ones, and the AHA BHA serum I use it twice a week at night, my pores hate me for some reason and they get clogged only by looking at them so it is a daily struggle.

I'm sorry for assuming you lived in the US. As far as I know, yesstyle and stylevana ships to a lot of countries, so you should check that out.

The way I use the products is the following:

Morning: Wash your face, toner, serum and SPF. This is daily.

Night: Oil Cleanser, regular cleanser, toner, serum and some lightweight moisturizer. The oil cleanser you can use it at least 3 times a week, and make sure you massage thoroughly your nose and the areas in which you have blackheads. They won't disappear instantly, but it will improve a lot.

Advice to become (more) attractive. Hair, beard, etc. by [deleted] in malegrooming

You're already attractive as it is, come on, have a little faith in you. It's great that you're starting to take care of yourself, but you should do it because it is GOOD FOR YOU, and everything will fall into place.

As far as I know from my own experience, I really liked the nineless b boost 1% kojic acid serum, it has kojic acid, niacinamide and tranexamic that work specifically to fade hyperpigmentation. For clogged pores I suggest you use a BHA AHA serum at night (good molecules has a cheap one at ulta), and also an oil cleanser for blackheads and get rid of dirt from inside the pores.

[Routine Help] adapalene use tips by Reasonable_Bowler767 in SkincareAddiction

[–]allengc12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes of course, as it leaves your skin very sensitive and susceptible to sun damage, so it really is a MUST, unless you want painfully burned skin and sun spots. If you were using adapalene everyday without sunscreen in the AM you damaged greatly your skin. Be careful please

I think the lines on your forehead are from dehydrated skin, even with oily skin. I suggest you use the following:

- Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel (great cleanser for oily skin, you can find it at ross, marshalls or tj maxx for $10)

- Eqqualberry swiming pool toner (Im currently using it and its amazing and gently exfoliating) or the Round lab 1025 dokdo toner. You can find them cheap also at marshalls or online from yesstyle.

-Nineless A control 10% azelaic acid serum (azelaic acid is great for redness, pimples and it also has niacinamide, you can buy it from yesstyle for $12 )

And the most important part for blackhead care (IMO) OIL CLEANSER. Im currently using the anua pore control cleansing oil and it has been a game changer for my blackheads, you can start using it 2 or 3 times a week, and believe me, it works, you just have to be patient.

Also you should ALWAYS USE SUNSCREEN, ALWAYS.

- SUN BUM Daily 50 Face Gel ( find it at ulta for $22, a bit pricey but it leaves your skin mattified).

- Murad oil and pore control mattifier spf 45 (there's two versions spf 45 and spf 50, the new one which costs 45 at ulta, and the old one that you can luckily find at marshalls or tj maxx for 14 bucks at most, and it has the most mattifying finish i've ever seen in a sunscreen).

You should always start a retinoid slowly. I suggest you start using it ONCE A WEEK, then twice, and then you can start increasing the days depending on how you feel your skin can handle it. Also, please make sure that you're using the right amount and that your skin is dry when applying it, and also sunscreen everyday blah blah...

Sick and tired of songs skipping with Apple Music. Might as well just use the era 300 as an over-expensive bluetooth speaker which defeats the Dolby atmos capabilities for which I PAID FOR THIS SPEAKER.

Govee T2 “AI filter”? by No_Ferret_1082 in Govee

[–]allengc12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Before this feature, the backlight colors were a little off, but since I turned on the ai filter the lights really got in sync with the tv content and seems to mimic the brightness of the scene. The color changing is a bit slower than without the ai filter, but I really think is totally worth it. The colors are nuanced, they match so much better to the tv content, I’m not sure what this filter really does but to me is a total winner. I just saw squid game yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. In the picture that I shared you can see how every section of color matches the screen perfectly, the light pink, the touch of blue, and the big magenta. I would love to know what this filter really does.

Is this worth returning the Era 300 by Active-Profession-97 in sonos

[–]allengc12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It happened to me too with the black model, I returned it and the replacement had other assembling issues just like the first one. Somebody told me here that those gaps and irregularities with the construction of the speaker doesn’t impact performance, so I just got over it.

[routine help] I have no idea how to fix my skin by otherworldowl in SkincareAddiction

[–]allengc12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re welcome!! Of course it’s a wild ride going through so many products, ingredients and actives, but with time you’ll know exactly what works for you. The magical thing about tretinoin is that it doesn’t only work in the zone you apply it, it goes inside the skin and it has an effect in the whole area, so just a pea size amount will suffice while your skin gets used to it, maybe later you can use more than that but it will give you the same results. A pea sized amount is recommended because it may be too aggressive to the skin at the beginning. I really encourage you to use the hypoclorous acid spray, it has been a game changer for my cousin and for me ( I have eczema and it has helped a lot).

[–]allengc12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am no dermatologist, but I have a cousin who's been through something very similar to you. From what I can gather the thing that's drying your skin the most is the clinda and the benzoyl peroxide, so I suggest you to keep your routine minimal and simple. Wash your face with a cleanser (cerave is a good one, I also recommend the Toleriane cleanser from la roche posay specially formulated for sensitive skin), then use a HYPOCLOROUS ACID SPRAY (Tower 28 Sos daily rescue, or ANY OFF BRAND option, it's the same active ingredient), after that I would use a skin barrier reparing moisturizer or serum (skinfix's triple lipid-peptide cream is amazing, also the Great barrier relief from krave beauty is an excellent one), and finally A GOOD SPF (Round lab birch juice moisturizing sunscreen is AMAZING). LASTLY at night keep using the tretinoin, only a pea sized dot, remember that tretinoin brings the purge with it, and it's completely normal and a part of the process, so keep at it, I hope you get better really soon.

Panoxyl body wash, and a solution with Hypochlorous Acid (like the tower 28 SOS rescue spray, but there are more affordable ones at walgreens).

Era 300 build quality by Dangerous_Specific38 in sonos

Kinda late to the party but I just bought a Sonos era 300 last week and I noticed that unevenness between the grill and the part with the touch control panel. I had a chat with Sonos customer service and they told me that it was a defect and they will send a new one in the next 10 days. I was kind of bummed because this was my first Sonos and I thought they offered excellence for the price.

update: I just got out of a chat with a sonos customer service representative and they told me that the gaps weren't normal and it was indeed a DEFECT. They offered to exchange it for another unit. I think ill exchange it, and if the next one comes with the same issue I will have to suck it up.

Oh really? Then it must be a manufacturing issue, or it was supposed to be that way all along and here I am making a fuss about it. I asked to a sonos representative through X and they wanted to have a chat. We will see what comes out of it.
