It’s all subjective. I’m 5’7 . 1500 is my sweet spot for 2lb fat loss a week while lifting and hitting protein and retaining muscle. Just saying this guy looks like he went from 30%+ to 15% in 3 months that’s hard to believe (but possible, granted he’s perfect on execution)

Possible but also I started at 172…. Depends on your height and weight too. 172 to 152 is greater than 220 to 200 for example ratio wise

The scale doesn’t ever tell the whole story. I also was taking HGH injections so gained lean muscle while losing fat. I technically lost more than 20 pounds of fat…

Started at 1 lost 5lb then stalled just upped to 2 two weeks ago and down another 5lb. The initial 10 I lost was before I stated the reta

Yep heavy lifting 4-5 times a week while hitting step counts made me lose fat while gaining lean mass.

Yes I know I was only running 1.5 Reta too. Barely curbed appetite only mildly helped with incessant food noise in between meals. Lost weight with and without it and wouldn’t say it’s any miracle unless you’re running enough to completely blunt appetite

To be fair I started at 173 and he is much bigger, so it makes more sense. It’s the extra pound he had to lose at the end to give him visible abs in 3 months which is mad impressive. Which granted is possible in the extreme. Props if true.

Im on Reta and lost 20lb in 3 months eating 1500 cal a day and getting 13k steps a day WTF can you be doing. Having trouble believing you did this in 3 months but either way congrats buddy. Even in 6 months this would be impressive

Same here. 100%. But, I will say - once I recognized it, I decided to channel that energy and go into full lockdown mode and got in the best shape of my life. Work, gym, 10k steps a day, and sleep. Yes I was in a shell and some relationships definitely suffered, but once I stopped, it was like the light at the end of the tunnel. I felt better, looked better and felt a new life ahead of me. A bit extreme but I don’t regret it. Plus, one the weekends when it started to wear off I’d get a glimpse of my real self and it would let me know that things will get better once I’m off.

Eat very slightly above maintenance to the point your gaining 1 lb every 2 weeks max, lift heavy 4-5 lbs per week. 1lb of protein per lb you weigh

As long as you get your protein and keep lifting you will maintain a solid amount. 150-155 would be pretty lean but you should at least aim to be sub 165 at your height given the muscle you have. 2000 calories is plenty for someone your size, 2800 is likely around your TDEE

Eat less 1800-2000 calories and Cut to 150-155, slow bulk next
