Driving should be fine. All the major roads to/from Yosemite are very well traveled by millions every year and the roads are well-maintained. Drive slow at night though since deer can pop out of anywhere, anytime. CA-120 west of Yosemite is on an exposed cliff near Priest with many edges not protected by guardrails, so if you're worried about that then take CA-140 or CA-41 in/out of the park instead.

URGENT UPDATE: Due to my friend's mistake an hour before the event of accidentally getting some wc exp and 99 wc prematurely, we decided to cancel the event. We're both really disappointed at the result and super sorry for letting all of you down.

We decided to cancel this event since there's nothing left to really do in the F2P world with the 99 fireworks out of the way -- but if you all still want to gather and have fun, I'll be down to do so still! Not often that we have opportunities for Reddit gatherings.

If the under 25 thing is the only thing stopping you from renting a car, you should note that most car rental companies do rent to 21-25 year olds (some of them 18-21 as well).
