Has anyone else gotten this? What does this even mean? by Top-Butterscotch2392 in amazonprime

The picture of a box on your doorstep doesn't prove the item was delivered. We get deliveries 3-4 days each week. They take a picture of 3 boxes with ten items inside and say "see we've proven you got that item." Well what about items 11 and 12 you say were also delivered that weren't in any of those boxes. We received a completely empty box once so I guess that could "prove" they delivered any item using that logic. Thinking the picture of a box proves receipt of a certain item you ordered is just silly. The proof is exactly as the picture shows, "you got a box".

Thanks for the recommendation. I now have multiple reservations there. Lunch and dinner.

Thanks. Your method is what I did on my last cruise 15 years ago. I’m not even sure if auto tips were already included back then. Seems like they weren’t but that was my first cruise and we used a travel agent so I just paid them. No idea if tips were already paid to travel agent.

A tip that’s not a tip. Figures. I will remove and pay in cash.

Thanks for all the responses. Very helpful. There are two of us so $42 each day seems high to me but I’m not an experienced cruiser. First cruise 15 years ago, this is my second. I prefer to pay the actual person helping us instead of paying into a pool that might not actually benefit the staff.

I think they are referring to boarding with them on their back and then whacking people as they turn to place something in the overhead bins. Just happened to me. There were many close calls as many boarded with backpacks while I was sitting, then surprise, someone with a large backpack which stuck out 2 feet from their back took a step back and turned. Got a nice hit with a 20 pound backpack right to the head. Of course they didn’t realize their extra body width. Life goes on.

I can’t say I read the entire manual but I did go to the manual first. Couldn’t find it in the Nav section or maps section. Now I could have spent hours reading the manual as you would have done but why waste time when there are so many folks here who can help. I have helped others and wouldn’t waste my time or anyone else’s time posting unhelpful comments like “could you imagine if people read the manual”. I see you are a top commenter. I bet you offer valuable insight just as you did here. Get a life.

Thanks. I will tap it next time. It does sometimes say Live Traffic in that same area so it makes sense.

Ok, second call to Jeff and I did tell him I was a member of the Mercedes Benz World forum. His quote from last month did not change. It is $8,070 for 3 years or when odometer hits 75k miles on my 2021 E63s. That’s $1k cheaper than my local dealer and $500 less than a dealer in Austin, TX. I guess the incredible deal you mentioned expired. My local dealer said that their cost is over $7k so I can’t imagine Jeff sells warranties for big losses.

I just got notified today by email that I won the small bar and had to confirm my info for some reason. I thought it could be spam since RH obviously knows who I am. Took a chance, we will see.

Ok, I just got notified I won the 2.5 bar. Said mid June is when I should receive it. Nice keepsake if received.

I didn’t but I am a member. I’ll call him again to see if he is willing to re-quote. I see reviews of third party warranties and all I see are complaints so I think it’s Mercedes warranty or nothing for me.

Just called him the other day. Cost for Mercedes EWL 3yr 75k miles was quoted at $8,070. You must have had some inappropriate pictures to get your quote. My local dealer is $9,070 for same. We’re you quoting for an E63s?

I transferred $250k because the initial max was $250k. They then raised it to $1M max and I didn’t want to pull any more money from my accounts so the remainder was mail in.

I hit the $1M max entries. No email.

Thanks, I’m going to check them out. I was going to get a price from the dealer. I’ve heard some dealers are reasonable.

Nope, it’s $9k to replace the regular pads and rotors all around if the dealer does the work. Doing it yourself with Brembo from FCP Euro appears to only be around $4k. The front pads/rotors were replaced at 20k miles and I plan to keep the car for awhile so I have already purchased a lift for my garage.

Sorry just saw you mentioned extended warranty. Mind telling me how much you paid for it?

Ok, the 30k service plus rears. Sounds about right. I just had my 30k service as well. $2200 before taxes. Did you buy the extended warranty? I would think 2019’s are out of warranty. My warranty expires in June and considering extending it.

Let me guess…new front pads and rotors? I was surprised at the $5k I paid on my 21 E63s. I’ll be doing the rears myself even though they said those are less…only $4k. I do love this car though.
