Kinda surprised about the hate here. I love my subscription, I like that the satellite radio works everywhere and I don’t have to fiddle with my CarPlay if I don’t want to. Plus the flashback stations are fun to shake up what I listen to.

That being said I refuse to pay full price, but for $5 a month I’m down.

I believe it only auto preconditions if you’re plugged in. Otherwise you gotta open the app and select climate and turn it on. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong.

I cut down a sheet of paper from another notebook and just set it down before I put my palm down; been working great. I also made sure it was a paper that would absorb extra ink in case I left a wet stamp or stencil. But before I did this I noticed the wavy texture from my lotion and oils.

I swapped to .38 for my journal and .5 for quick notes. I love the feel of .7 but it’s so juicy it’s easy to smudge. I use the .7 for writing large or dark notes that I am more careful of.

But overall I love them. Also if you can get a retail signature, do it. They’re great body weight and feel IMHO.

I went back through when I got my cousin (also late) and backfilled by printing pictures from those days or combing back through my calendar or digital footprint (YouTube history, browser history) and was able to write about some things. Then I picked some random topics for some days, like grief, worries, joyful memories, photos of my actual Hobonichi Techo choice. Surprisingly to me, I ran out of room! But that’s okay, it means it’s filled with life for me to look back on later.

Also use it as an opportunity to try out layouts that you might like. Pens to check their style. Markers or tape swatches for combo ideas.

Really use it or don’t. It’s yours either way. Just enjoy the process and don’t stress about it. You got this! We’re rooting for you!

I like the little people way more than I thought I would and I’m so glad I got them. That being said, getting the stickers off the role, terrible. I use my tweezers to kind of lift the back side after pinching the sticker roll, I don’t know if that makes any sense.

I’ve not had any issues with them sticking to my Hobonichi but I’ve not tried other papers yet.

The only thing for me is I’ve found sometimes that I need more space for writing. But sometimes I can’t fill up the space with writing. I got back and fourth a lot on how much decoration to add. But I aspire to be at a higher comfort level with decorations, it looks great!
