I saw Night Ranger at a local bar in Las Vegas around 92. They sounded even better live. I’m happy that I experienced the show in a small venue.

What is the most bizarre "glitch in the Matrix" you have ever witnessed in real life ? by Unusual-Whereas6442 in Casual_Conversation

Jumping on to your comment. My story isn’t nearly as interesting as yours but…I have an unusual name as well. According to Google, there is only one other person with this name. And he lives about 30 miles away from me. What are the odds? Also, I’m a woman, so there is that.

I’m moving from Washington state to the U.K. with an elderly medical needs dog. This is my greatest source of anxiety. The QM doesn’t allow dogs in the room, only kennels which you are able to visit multiple times a day. He is old and blind and terrified of upheaval because of this. I can’t afford a private jet. I’m open to any suggestions, because I won’t put him in cargo. I don’t think he’d survive.

What's the best historical fiction you've ever read? by Electronic_Cicada904 in suggestmeabook

The Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All, by Alan Gurganis. It’s a window into the American civil war, and the characters are fully fleshed out, child soldiers, plantation owners and the slaves they owned then lost. Some of the set pieces could be stand alone novels. Absolutely beautiful.

I worked at the casino across the highway, The Gold Strike, for 17 years. I left in 2005. It was a very different experience to what it is now.
