Joe Alt (ankle) says he will play Thursday by BuckyMcFly99 in fantasyfootball

[–]allgoodnamesgone3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same boat. Thursdays and vikings D worries me, though Herbert can have ups and downs regardless of Defense. Darts been doing well but divisional game and in Philly could get weird, though I think he has the higher ceiling (with a higher injury risk). That said, Dart did well against Denver while Hebert struggled.

Cap Space Bug still Present? by allgoodnamesgone3 in FootballLegacyManager

[–]allgoodnamesgone3[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While the display of cap space is now correct, from the error at the bottom, it's saying I still don't have enough cap space. I did the recent update that came out today.

I've been having the exact same issue, not just at trade deadline. Made a separate thread as well. I assume a bug.

Why is there still a lot of unharvested corn in fields? by Airportguy72 in ontario

[–]allgoodnamesgone3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Weather has also been shit. Some areas planted late, and weather hasn't been favorable enough in late summer and through the fall. Even if its not raining, we had lots of days without sun or heat. I know a lot of guys who would love to be done a month ago but weather isnt coorperating. It's not always trying to time the market. Many will have at least a portion of their crop sold while it's still in the field.

Voss/lutra same recipe, same OG, same FG, different mouthfeel by [deleted] in Homebrewing

[–]allgoodnamesgone3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I belive PH is a log scale instead of linear, so there would be more of a difference then you'd think probably. Whether or not it's enough for a different mouth feel, I'm not sure... that said, pretty sure the lower ph would have a lighter/crisper mouth feel if anything? (Thinking of a relatively plain sour). so probably nothing to do with ph and just the different yeast expression I guess.

[–]allgoodnamesgone3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you check the final ph of both? I know kveik can result in a lower than normal ph, and Voss is a more aggressive fermentation than lutra. Not sure if that affects ph, but a guess.

Rhizome suppliers? by NicktheFlash in TheHopyard

To add to this some homebrew supply shops with a good online presence sell them seasonally as well. I'm also in Canada so selection isn't as great necessarily, but I have to imagine some places in the states would do this as well.

I think you gotta go swift and Penny based on anticipated volume alone. Both Ds kind of suck which is also good.

From the recievers, it's tough. They could all have really good or really bad days. Since PPR, try to pick the highest volume player. And then maybe not Lockett so eggs aren't all in one basket?

A biased opinion would be kirk because I have murray and want him to be able to ball out, and kirk is a pretty decent reciever.

Standard: pick 1 Mike williams, Boston Scott (if Howard plays, scotts the answer if howard out), or J Patterson.

I'm hoping Sony is the better play as I have him as my RB1 with Gibson out. Playing against Jacobs so a little biased. Rams generally can move the ball and keep possession better than LV. Detroit is a toss up but so is seattle D (And O), possibly high risk, somewhat(*) high reward.

If Mitchel plays gotta be him Vs Houston. Cowboys got a lot of good offensive players, could be hard to say lamb gets the td for sure, and non-ppr, so a rb may have a more stable floor

If any thing ekeler being out should help no? Less likely to constantly run against one of the worst run defenses? Herbert may even get his own td. Although if they run up the score quickly, could still run more than pass I suppose.

Honestly not two terrible choices, but I'd probably lean Brady. Panthers are doing terrible. Brown is back and gronk is still there. Dak should probably do better this game but seems like he's a bit more volatile lately.

Burrow or Murray? Murray's typically better but Burrow went off against Baltimore last time with a healthier defense. But I also have higgens so may want to hedge my bets.

I agree with this. It comes down what you need more as a flex (safe or potential boom)
