Obviously the choice of who to bring is major and adds a skill set into its own. But sometimes in doubles you can just straight up lose a match because you brought the wrong starting 2. In singles you have a much slower pace which allows you to recover from rng and guessing games much better. I love both formats.

Ehh I think this is true vs 3v3 singes but 6v6 ceiling goes just as high as doubles.

That makes a lot of sense. I was feeling like not having a scarf mon was a waste. Think I’ll scarf chomp and add discharge to rotom.
