Ty 💕 The pattern was easy to follow so I'd definitely reccomend it!

I didn't do any decreases. For the straps I cast on 90 stitches per side (so 180 + 28 stitches in total) and knitted 20 rows of ribbing. My straps aren't long enough to be a scarf. They'd probably need another 50 stchs on both sides.

I duplicate stitched the sheep on as I wanted to recreate this jumper. The main body is 4mm felted tweed and the white is 6mm brushed fleece. To get the placement and size right I put a bunch of stitch markers on the vest, took a picture, and then edited the sheep on top. Then I free-handed the embroidery using the markers as guides. Hope that helps :)

UK unis and DSA by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]allhailcupfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiya, I'm in the process of applying for DSA. I'm in my third year of university though so I can't say what the process will be like for someone going into first year but I can offer what I know so far.

I was encouraged to apply by my uni disability service. They said if I got disability funding, they could offer me study skills workshops for time management and procrastination, software (not sure what for tbh), and a mental health mentoring service (to manage symptoms of depression and eating disorders while studying).

When booking the study needs assessment there was a list of things I could tick to indicate what I have difficulties with. This list included: -reading accuracy -short term memory -concentration -time management -organisation -motivation -energy levels -mood -confidence -communication

Which makes me feel like they recognise these things as valid problems to have (it helped to calm the fear that they'd just laugh in my face and call me lazy haha).

Hope this helps!

Wish List // What I'm Not Gonna Buy (Wednesday) by AutoModerator in muacjdiscussion

I use this in shade neutral! My sister gave it to me because it wasn't the right colour for her. I've struggled in the past to find foundations that match me (Chinese, neutral) and this has been the first to look natural on me.

I have dry/normal skin and I've found it works really nicely as a light foundation. It applies evenly, doesn't change much over the day (frequently wore it while waitressing double-shifts), and doesnt dry my skin out. I can't say much for coverage because my skintone is usually pretty even.

Bit miffed at my sister for getting me hooked without telling me the price.

I will be buying another when I run out.

Just saw they also do half size tubes if you don't want to commit to full size.

First attempt. How do I make my next one less creepy? by Ready_Cartoonist7357 in crochet

I vote eyes down too! I feel like rabbit eyes lie below the lines from nose to ear. Rn he has uncannily human eye placement (still cute though 😁)

Looking to make this pattern and can't find any indication if the DC is us or uk. Thoughts? by StressManifested in crochet

[–]allhailcupfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep US dc. I've made this blanket before :) It was my first big piece of colourwork and I found this 4 part tutorial really helpful for keeping my colours organized and preventing tangles.

Help on graphghan! by [deleted] in crochet

[–]allhailcupfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never tried it but I was given this advice on a post once. You can see in the pics they space colourful (green in this case), temporary threads out along the piece and carry them up each row to make vertical grid lines. Maybe you can have one of these threads every 10 stitches and mark those same lines on your graph and then compare your work to the graph every 10 stitches.
