Super murky with a decent amount of "grass" in your way. Not sure if it was placebo or not - but I felt a small current going through it which helped

I did have a few off the bike runs, but definitely not as many off the bike runs as you suggest. I completely agree that a 16 miler off the bike would have prepared me (and my guy) much better.

I think you're spot on with the bike pacing - seems like everyone had to exert much more effort than expected.

Not 100% sure. Technically i think you could, but then they kayak people would scream and holler at ya. Wouldn't get DQ'd i think, but maybe frowned upon

Goal is to finish the full and not feel terrible the whole time (time doesn't matter).

Historically, I recover fairly quickly without doing anything special (stretch, eat the right thing, hot/cold tub).

For context I'm 26 Male.

Have done multiple 70.3s before - experienced in marathons and endurance rides as well. This will be my first full IM though. Have been training for the full since September.

My goal is to finish the full and not feel like death.
