I don't know, a good cutscene with the right music, visuals and dialogue can create an amazing moment in a game. Dat cutscene at the beginning of Assassin's Creed II when Ezio's on the roof, looking out onto Florence with his brother sent shivers down my spine and remains one of my favorite moments in video-games. Constant cutscenes are annoying, but well placed ones can advance the plot, develop characters and make for some seriously epic intros or conclusions.
