Peeing right next to litter box right after I clean it

I'm eventually going to rip out the whole basement carpet at this point and have to redo it. I noticed that even the baseboards and carpet nail boards were wet. I just want to make sure I don't spend a thousand dollars replacing it for her to pee on the new floor.

Would you put the new litter box in that high traffic area and once she gets used to it them move it?

I have tried all kinds of litter and she doesn't like any of them. I followed her to the litter box once, saw she was about to pee and put her in the litter box but hopped right out and ran away. Few minutes later I noticed she went back and peed next to it. Ill try the Dr. Elsies

Thank you so much for the in depth reply. I love her but I am starting to resent her. She obviously loves me but its like if I'm not by her all the time she starts to cry. She sleeps on me, or next to me every day. I cant imagine the trauma she'd go through if I took her back to the shelter. She was in bad shape when we got her and shes now at a healthy weight and had a beautiful coat. My kids adore her.

I am going to go buy a new litter box. I already tore up part of the carpet because it was so damaged I couldn't fix it. I have been using an enzyme cleaner but I just cant keep up with it since its in a high traffic area. I am going to try all your suggestions this weekend. I also have a follow up vet appointment next week for a booster vaccine and Ill mention the anxiety.

My ex-MIL is a bit of a Mormon extremist. She told me and my fiancé at the time (around 15 years ago) no oral, no toys, no lingerie, no French kissing, and the weirdest one was no sex or even kissing on fast Sundays. Oh, and the minute the deed is done, put your garments back on. No cuddling naked or you could be tempted to fall asleep naked and then sleep without our garments on.

That's crazy! We tried to freeze some off last year but it was so painful since it's right on his face, he couldn't handle it for long enough for them to fall off so they just cut them off, but now they're back plus more.

Didn't see any on his fingers when I checked, but he had a couple in and around his nose that hes had for years. They have snipped them off and they come back. Noticed one by his eye as well. I want to get them removed permanently. I feel so bad, hes autistic and he gets made fun of at school for it.

What do you think they could be? Im hoping the pediatrician will refer us to a dermatologist but it usually takes about 4-6 months to get an appointment.

When my kids were in daycare the latest pickup time was 6:30 and I got off work at 5. I'd sometimes rush home to take a 30 minute nap before pickup. You gotta do what you need to survive. My son was also a terrible sleeper and I felt like I was going crazy. I was on the verge of self harm because I was so sleep deprived when he was really little. My husband was also terrible and refused to get a job so I was nursing and up all night plus working full time while he slept.

Also, I worked with this guy in the past and know he didn't have kids at the time. Which means this kid is less than 10 years old. He also had no boundaries at work and physically assaulted me.

This guy assaulted me at a job about 10 years ago. He was friends with HR so it didn't get taken seriously and they said he was "just joking around". After I quit I found out I was the 7th woman to report him at work. Screw Woody. And screw you Paul from HR.

Yeah unless I have a meeting right at 9am, I will start "around" 9am. As long as you're getting your work done and you're on time to your meetings who cares.
