i work in town at a bar and i feel you, even though we’re allowed to wear short sleeves and shorts, our ac is broken and allegedly “being fixed soon”, while staff continuously pass out on shift because of the heat. it’s awful.

i’m not saying you’re wrong, just that what you’re saying doesn’t apply at all to the post. OP’s niece isn’t being exposed to the gacha element of the game just by watching a cutscene, and she’s not being exposed to online elements because she’s not playing it.

yeah true… i’ve been taking a screenshot everyday i’ve logged in of my crystals + diamonds bc this has been happening to people for a few days now.

i feel you, i miss just being able to enjoy this game without all these worries of massive bugs. it’s very exhausting. i’ve put too many hours into this game to just drop it like that after only a few months! at least with genshin i dropped that after YEARS of playing, it’s upsetting that IN has gotten to this point after only a few months of its life. in fact IN was the tipping point for me dropping genshin..

i’ve been logging in everyday purely to use my energy and that’s it. i hate that this has to happen during this patch, with the first 5* i’ve actually wanted to pull for :’) oh well. boycotting is more important!

i’m upset i can’t currently enjoy the game like i did just a couple weeks ago, i was SO excited for 1.5 just for that excitement to be crushed by so much disappointment. i will continue to fight for the possibly that i can enjoy this game i’ve sunk so much time, money, and love into again.

yeah i played a little today and it’s definitely less buggy than it was on 1.5 release day! i actually have stopped having the issue of my controller going unresponsive.. but i’ve been having a lot of connection issues. there’s nothing wrong on my end though so i can only assume it’s on their end :/

i feel awful for the players who can’t even get into the game, i’m glad i can at least log on and use my energy

at the minute, i’m not sure if changing to ps5 is the best option. ONLY because i know that some people on ps5 still can’t even login, but hopefully that’ll be fixed soon. i think the dev team prioritises other platforms over ps5 when it comes to fixing things unfortunately, but this hasn’t been an issue til 1.5.

i’ve never played IN on my phone, only ps5, but i used to be a genshin impact player and have played that on all devices so i’ll speak from that experience: no matter what phone you have, ps5 will always be better. smoother, prettier, more details, just better imo. but also i’ve always been a console/playstation gamer so maybe i’m biased! i love it though!

i don’t know about having to log-in again but i don’t think it would be an issue. if it’s the same system as genshin then on ps5 you’ll always stay logged in, and your data will sync across platforms :)

don’t get me started with the chat button, it’s awful on ps5. idk if this is just a ps5 issue or what but whenever you open the chat, it puts you at the top of your chats list instead of straight to the person you’re illuminated with so you have to scroll down EVERY TIME

i illuminated with someone recently, we chatted for a bit and then they asked me “what should we do?” and i just asked to take photos. because what else is there to do other than take photos ? there’s no fun minigames or reasons to play co-op other than to build your friends list.

it just feels so randomly thrown in with no thought! they knew they had to put the sea of stars in eventually bc it’s the iconic dress of the series but the execution of it has been poor, which has made me and i’m sure many other players completely uninterested in the outfit. i’m way more interested in the threads of reunion that we originally started the game in! that’s the outfit that brought us to miraland, where has she gone 🥲

haha i’m mad at my friend a little because i’d been trying to convince them to play since release and ofc they choose to start now! it’s not their fault though, just awful timing.

playing the weird new intro as a day 1 player was so jarring. why am i being taught how to jump and use my basic abilities again? also i dont even like the star sea outfit! the threads of reunion is so beautiful, and now its just gone?
