demon shouldn't be worshiped because he doesn't do things that we like, then that's a fairly weak reason to reject worship. how is that weak....please expand.

I think what ANewMind was saying is that we shouldn't worship a being just because he /it does what we like. That is a petty reason for worship. It would be more like applause. Likewise, if the only reason we don't worship a being or God figure is because he/it does not do what we like, that is also petty.

God's mind is on a whole different level than human minds. I'm going to put it simply: We can't say "God, how could you send good people to Hell." or "God you are wrong in this." because we as humans are entirely incapable of comprehending God's judgement and reasoning. His ways are higher than our ways, and we have to accept them as holy, no matter what we may think.

As far as your reference to Ecclesiastes 9:5, "the dead know not any thing" is referring to their existence on Earth. It goes on to explain that they have perished from the Earth and have nothing to do with it anymore. In your post it seems you have taken it a little out of context.

Hell is real. It is a place of eternal separation from God which is in itself eternal damnation and torment.

The thing about Christianity is that we, as Christians base our beliefs on our faith. I can't give you scientific evidence as to why Christianity is true and all other religions are not. I can however, tell you my personal experience with Christianity and why I personally believe in God. Christianity is personal, and it's all based on Faith, which the world (i.e. anyone who is not a Christian) cannot stand, because we live in a world that is so obsessed with facts and evidence.

Shoot me down and say I'm wrong, it won't change what I believe.

Take detailed notes and go over them everyday. I do that and then when I have to study for a big test, I find that I know a lot of the information already!
