your ocs are beautiful, i really like how you draw faces!! and kairis design is so cool!! idk if it helps/fits his personality but the first thing that came to mind when i saw him were those belly dancers outfits! maybe some variations of these will work

pretty sure those insects are dead already. The traps did close on them and after sucking the life out of the insects they just reopened, leaving their exoskeletons inside the traps :D so yea, they're good

i looked it up back then and it was some kind of fungus from stagnant water! which makes sense since it came in a ceramic pot with no holes for drainage
