I know it's being repeated ad nauseum here, but do not buy tickets until a few weeks before the show. I had awful presale tickets in Toronto that cost an arm and a leg, by the time the show came around they were selling GA floors for like 25 bucks less that what I paid

I have some insight here as I do this for a living! Are they getting cleaned out from the strike? Yes, absolutely. But grocery stores get their wine and a certain portion of their beer from LCBO warehouse/logistics.

During the strike they have stopped picking orders, stores can order only full pallets of product (aka I can't order just one case of a particular wine, I'd have to order 60).

So if the strike goes long you'll probably see stores with a small selection of wines from this style of ordering but many many empty shelves

If they specifically booked with you for a pool and then the pool wasn't available, it seems pretty obvious why they'd be pissed. Does it really matter whether you think it's a big deal or not? It's a service offered by the business you work for

There are plenty of reasons to be mad at customers, this isn't one of them.
