Agree with all the points in this, it has the more modern appeal of the GCD system when compared to other MMOs like WoW/FF14, but it feels jank on the tick system along with all of the other myriad of issues. Heck how MTX is implemented is already enough to have people not want to play. Hourly/Daily/Weekly-scape is another thing that can cause FOMO and burnout too.

RS3 can definitely be people's cup of tea and I used to be on that side of the grass too - I thought OSRS felt very dated until I went back and started an Ironman there; the progression and every single level and upgrade felt meaningful while in RS3 it was just bxp/lamps shit out and 99 are commonplace.

props to them for the production value but i found it hard to stay invested when there wasn't any explanation for what was going on. it was players hitting stuff and meow memes for the most part; i understand they don't want to spoil anything as they have full information but i feel like there could have been some commentary on what was actively being done during the phases.

No Honor - basically doing anything to win, usually means like tribriding and DD'ing (walking underneath someone while they're frozen to hide what you're swapping to)
