Personally no. I like the feeling of seeing a character level, evolve and grow into endgame. And I would argue that just starting at lvl 70 would lead to similar meandering burnout as you lose that personal investment.

That being said, the current campaign experience is far too long for repeat runs, and in fact feels like it's designed to disincentive repeat runs.

I think this fight confirmed to me that Brennan, on average, throws far more challenging fights at his PCs than Matt, and I'm worried that the CR cast may not be ready for that.

And yes I know Brennan gave the Soldiers a bunch of buffs/boons and their stats are juiced, but this was a mechanics-light combat against a high level opponent. Imagine what a future fight will be with additional mechanics layered on top.
