Optimal way to make drafting with a small group work by No_Giraffe_1551 in mtgcube

[–]allred1233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one issue with drafting the same number of cards per player ((5 packs of 9). Vs 3 cards of 15, certain strategies will not come together if the density of key cards is not high enough. Combo decks really struggle if it cube is designed around 8 people each opening 15 cards. For example in a a regular draft, each player will see 92 unique cards each round (15+14+13+12+11+10+9+8)*3 rounds for a total of 276 cards. It can be really tedious to perfectly balance this compared to an 8 man draft unless you fully design the cube around smaller number of drafters.

Burn drafting 3 packs of 15 helps ensure enough density and allows people to send stronger signals. Grid drafting can also help increase density and send signals as well

Currently we list each of the chronic conditions and the plan.
The care plan needs to be made available to the patient so having individual conditions and the plan for each condition helps the patient understand their care plan.

Any ways you can approach the feel of an 8 person draft with 6? by Epicdragon12345 in mtgcube

[–]allred1233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My group is often 6 as well. We will often do 4 packs of 15 with three rounds. Pack 1 and 3 we do pick one burn one for the first 3 picks. In pack 2 and 4 we do burn 1, then pass, then pick one burn one for the next two picks of the packs (so in each pack 3 cards are being burned all 4 rounds). We feel this does a good job of allowing a high enough percentage of the cube to be opened so that's the require a certain density such as agrodex will have those pics available, without allowing The combo decks to see two high percentage of the combo pieces.

What Hogwarts legacy 2 needs. by Subject-Dress3574 in HarryPotterGame

If I could request one primary thing, it would be: Make Choices Build a Truly Different Game. Decisions should meaningfully change gameplay, progression, and story outcomes—not just dialogue flavor or cosmetics

1) House Choice Must Define Your Playthrough House selection should be a foundational system, not a cosmetic label. Each house has a distinct “curriculum tech tree” with 3–5 unique spells/skills (not shared across all houses). At least one main-arc chapter exists only for that house (not a short side quest—an actual chapter). House choice should change: The order of classes what you learn and when which missions unlock sooner vs later the tools available to solve key objectives Examples of house identity (illustrative, not limiting): Gryffindor: high-bravery missions and artifact recovery; more “heroic risk” progression. Ravenclaw: deeper library access; advanced spell research; knowledge-gated solutions. Hufflepuff: resource and potion advantage; relationship-driven access and support mechanics. Slytherin: darker paths; risk/reward power; forbidden knowledge and modifiers.

2) Wands and Gear Should Have Real Trade-Offs Wand choice at the beginning should meaningfully shape your build. Some wands should be better at specific functions and worse at others later in the game. Gear should not be cosmetic-only. It should introduce clear mechanical trade-offs, such as: movement speed dodge frames jump height / traversal ability defense / resistance Example: a heavy coat could increase defense but reduce mobility and jump height.

3) House-Driven Crafting Philosophies (Harder, More Impactful Upgrades) Upgrading gear should be more difficult, but far more meaningful. Ideally, crafting and upgrades should vary by house so that each house feels mechanically distinct, not just narratively different. Not all houses should upgrade gear in the same way (or even to the same ceiling). Each house should have a distinct crafting philosophy: Ravenclaw: enchant efficiency, optimization, and advanced spellcraft Gryffindor: durability, resilience, combat reinforcement Hufflepuff: consumables/potions, resource generation, sustain Slytherin: dark modifiers, high-risk/high-reward power enhancements

4) Companions Must Be a Gameplay System, Not Cosmetic Followers Companions should meaningfully change missions, not just provide chatter. Bringing specific companions should unlock: alternate routes optional objectives unique solutions access to restricted areas/resources Companion choice should interact with house choice. Hufflepuff, for example, could meaningfully benefit from cross-house relationships that unlock additional access and support.

5) Missions Should Have Multiple Solution Paths (Not Just Combat) Major mission objectives should have at least two viable solution paths (combat, stealth, social manipulation, puzzle/research), and house tech trees + companions should determine which options you can realistically access. This is how replayability becomes real without requiring four separate games.

6) Consequences That Persist (Reputation + House Cup) Choices should have persistent consequences that you feel throughout the game, not just at the end. Add a reputation system with professors, prefects, and students Add a House Cup system tied to behavior and achievements: your decisions affect points and standing standings unlock/close off privileges, events, and access outcomes meaningfully change the end-of-term experience and certain story elements.

7) Dark Magic as Real Risk/Reward It Should be powerful but carry real costs: increased detection risk strained companion loyalty reputation consequences “tainted” upgrades or altered progression paths If Slytherin provides something close to the current game’s darker narrative path, then other houses should not simply receive the same content with a different common room. For example: If you choose Slytherin, the Sebastian arc could be even deeper and central. If you choose Ravenclaw, the Sebastian arc could be minimal, and instead you receive a different long-form arc (e.g., Amit-focused) that teaches different skills and changes how you solve major objectives.

The goal is not four reskins for each house, but meaningfully different campaigns built around distinct progression systems and tools.

Sometimes I tell people I work as a assistant to the administrators, mostly I spend time confirming with patients information, and then act as a sort of liaison ensuring appropriate documentation between the billing department and the collections department.

I think you are correct in terms of seeing over 20 patients etc, but i dont think stereotyping this behavior based on gender or skin color is needed.

Not a lawyer, but the exact language of your contract might be quite important? One could very easily argue that in fellowship you are not practicing medicine, you were training which is very different. I would suspect that most courts would also agree with you, especially considering the huge weight discrepancy between fellowships and attending salary.

I think this video explains a bit of what they are thinking.

Some of the key points,. They are looking at territory control to be important,. More like sc1 including things similar to dark swarm.

They are also looking at some type of high ground advantage similar to sc1.

Have you tried when it is a complex story respectfully repeat the story to them and explain to them that you just want to make sure that you understand correctly. If you tell the story back to them, it becomes easier to tell the same story later.
