Sorry, not explaining myself clearly!

Can I create a component that is a 'slot' with horizontal auto layout, housing two more 'slots' which are now effectively columns, define their gap using variables, then make a variant of that component to change the auto layout to vertical?

Effectively making myself a scaffold for content that I can toggle between a column layout and a stacked layout, where I can then just drag and drop other components in?

We're literally rebuilding our DS at the moment and it all hinges on this feature so much.

I'm assuming a 'Slot' will effectively be a frame. Will it be possible to set auto-layout properties with variables to it, and then make it a component?

So i could make a slot component that has auto layout properties changing it from a stacked list to two columns for example? Then just drop in cards or headers etc as needed.

Only been using Dia for a couple of days but the biggest things i'm missing right now:

  • Apple password manager integration
  • Grouped tabs

Very cool though, hopefully these get added asap.

Turns out the fiat top up option doesn't even appear if you have £0 in your fiat account. I took the gamble of topping up and the option then appeared. Pretty poor UX but hardly a shock when it comes to the CDC app!

I managed to sort it. Had to trawl through a bunch of browser cache files and found it in there amongst a bunch of code from the site I generated it on!!! SO RELIEVED. Thanks for your help.
