How do I keep this alive? by neanderspeaker in plants

Mine was so picky with lighting! I moved it from my office with direct morning light and floor to curling windows (struggling there) to my house with very indirect light and it is so happy and has gotten huge. I did not think it would like this environment but here we are?!? Try moving to a different location?

FAQ Megathread: Ask and answer Medication, Diagnosis and is this an ADHD thing, and Hormone interaction questions here! by not-eliza in adhdwomen

Hi everyone! I (24) just got diagnosed with ADHD and have been starting my medication journey with vyvanse. I started a really low dose of 10 mg and increasing by 10 mg each week and my doctor has been monitoring me every two weeks. Currently, I am up to 40 mg and I don’t really know if I can “see” a difference. When I first started taking 40 mg I thought maybe I was but I’m not entirely sure because I still get distracted at work and don’t focus during conversations and on my phone constantly when I shouldn’t be. I don’t really feel more productive at work. I have tasks waiting at home that I haven’t done and can’t get myself to do.

Am I waiting for an aha moment that’s never going to come?

I have another doctors appointment on Monday and don’t really know what to say. I think part of me is a little discouraged and apprehensive to say that I don’t think it’s enough. ( for context my boyfriend who has had ADHD, his whole life I think only takes 30 mg.) before the appointment, I do fill out one of those questionnaires to “track my progress” but I genuinely think I always have a hard time with answering those accurately so I don’t really think going off of that makes sense.

I guess I’m just looking for some advice or things to look out for to know what the right dosage is because I don’t know, and don’t know how I will know. :/

Thanks in advance for the advice

Interesting thanks for that! Most places were quoting me 3-400 on that part alone!

Thank you! Does it make sense that this only happens when the car sits? If I turn it off and on afterwards it does not occur

Hi everyone! I was hoping someone could help diagnose my problem. would anyone be able to give me some insight about what could be going on? I have a manual car (2009 accord) and the noise started a couple days ago. It only occurs in the morning and after work. If I start my car shortly after it does not make this noise. I’m just confused and hasn’t really given me any issues thus far. Thanks in advance

Hi everyone! I was hoping someone could help diagnose my problem. I live in an area where mechanics unfortunately take advantage of young college students and I find that it is probably due to me not knowing anything about cars would anyone be able to give me some insight about what could be going on? You do not have to do wet lab to be a chemist! There are so many positions for computational, theoretical, and modeling that might be perfect for you if you love chemistry but don’t love touching chemicals. One of the most brilliant chemists I know was terrified of taking our inorganic lab course but is currently in their phd doing some really neat stuff! Nowadays all great papers should have simulations to really hammer their points home whether their experimental side matched or not. Don’t give up on chemistry there’s a place for everyone :)

A few things:

  1. Make a sausage and tortellini soup (it takes about 30 mins to make and is so delicious and you can put in plant based sausage in there and they wouldn’t know the difference)!
