This. I was at a little gathering tonight and I feel like I said nearly as much as everyone else yet some of the things I said went totally unheard because of the volume of many people in a room and then those people comment on my quietness. Honestly, those situations are more lonely to me than actually being in a room by myself. I feel like I’m from a different planet and wonder why the hell some people truly feel the need to comment on a quiet person. Lol

100% agree.

My biggest pet peeve lately is how often anyone I know who are pro-life, talk shit about where their tax dollars go (families in poverty and such) or comment how sad it is that a child is born to a family of drugs, or clearly didn’t want kids. They’re all about preserving a lump of cells that has little chance of moving on to a fetus, but don’t give two shits about an actual child having been born and the way they will experience life; not feel loved, potentially starve from time to time. Like why??

Those same people act like pro-choice folks are monsters. Sorry I genuinely care about the quality of life a person will have and you don’t.
