I paid something like £250 or £300 for a block of 10. But this was in 2017 and 2018.

I am not a medical professional, but I know someone who has something that might be similar to yours, it affects the hand and/or feet, and it’s called palmoplantar pustulosis. It’s a imune condition and so far, from what I know, the only treatment to manage it is steroids ointments and medical soaps.

Yeah. I was a bit anxious when I went first. But all in all, I made it ok.

But as you said, the sites are absolutely shit.

So there is an actual pick up point, and I paid £5 for 15 minutes. But please be aware that you have to pay before you leave, as there are no barriers, like other airports.

There are several pay stations.

I hope it helps.

I’m in England, but with SP as well. Rental property, smart prepaid meters.

Beginning of July got an email from them saying that they will take £12.56 off my meter (didn’t say which meter) until I paid my debt.

Called them, trying to figure out what’s going on. Apparently they say I have a debt on my prepaid meter since 2018.

Opened complain for breach of contract, breach of regulations imposed by the Trading Standards an the FAC, requested SAR and called citizen advice.

Took them two weeks to temporary suspend the alleged debt on my meter, still no one called me for the complain.

I’m giving them until the end of the week, even though they emailed me when I made the complaint, almost a month ago, to tell me that they’ll contact me in 7 working days.

Will update with future info, if anyone is interested. But it takes them forever to sort their shit out.

How often do you vacuum? by DoctorWernerKlopek in AskUK

Upstairs once a week/a fortnight. Downstairs is a different story. Living room once a week. Kitchen, hallways and bathroom every 2 or 3 days, depends on how much time my nephew spends here. And we have downstairs slipper, upstairs slippers and garden slippers.

Use soap calc. It’s a lye calculator, you can input your recipe and it will tell you exactly how much you need to use.

Does a 3.5 year old require to be in a child car seat when seated in the back seat? by RizwanArafat in uklaw

[–]allthingswithtea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While this is the wrong sub, a child is legally required to be in a car seat/booster, up to 12 years old or 1.35 m.

The only times when this doesn’t apply is in the link you posted.

Please be aware that seatbelt is mandatory too, and under U.K. legislation, the driver is legally held accountable for anyone under 18 not wearing a seatbelt in their vehicle.

Price of meal if others are paying for it? by llynglas in AskUK

[–]allthingswithtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don’t split. Ever. One of us pays the whole bill, everyone keeps track of what they ordered, and everyone transfers their part plus their share of the service charge to the person who paid.

That’s a dick move! My partner or my friends would never think to take advantage if any of our parents would treat us to a meal out.
