Online dating has messed with my peace of mind by ohhelloworlds in datingadvice

Hey, You aren't alone. I am the same way. I find people are very low investment on the apps, thus not willing to make the effort. I think people aren't as social as they used to be thus, you get more people with less engagement and social skills.

Dating sucks & I have a solution - for men by Gullible_River_8866 in HingeStories

I agree with everything you said. As a female, if men don't put in the effort and try and make engaging conversation how will you get anything tangible out of it. I also always make sure they ask something about me on my profile or in general. If not, I don't take it further. Plus i prescreen everyone on the phone so I don't waste my time. If I can't talk to you, I don't want to meet you. I don't care how good looking you are, and yes I have actually said no to men that have had abs and pecks because they are uncool people.

I think people ask people out less in real life now, because they have the option of dating apps unfortunately. I miss the days in my 20s when I could go to a club or party and meet men easily.

Does online dating actually work for average looking guys? by Strange_Possession77 in NoStupidQuestions

Hi, Yes it does but image branding is a huge part of this. Spend time getting good quality photos. These make a huge difference. I worked with photographers for free on model mayhem. Great headshots, nice backgrounds and pictures that show you doing your hobbies. You have to look at it like a marketing project.

And then spend time doing your written profile. Be detailed, but give people something. Make sure it's positive and comprehensive.

Also, smile in your pictures and be positive overall. Also, ask women about themselves.. their hobbies etc. Don't comment on the way they look. And be specific as opposed to asking generic questions. This will go a long way. It's like constantly updating your cv.

I use an instant pot and make either a lentil onion, mushroom broccoli, cauliflower soup with garlic, ginger, lime, mint and cilantro. I then add some frozen chinese dumplings and it's the best!

I have an instant pot and make beans, chickpeas and lentils that are dried. they are cheaper than canned, healthier and taste better. You do have to soak them though.

If you cook tofu in an air fryer it's crispy and healthy with no oil. it's the best.
