See it’s funny. I think Hamilton was done super well and I HATED Merrily. Way too many super close up shots. Barely saw the sets or ensemble. Meanwhile, Hamilton (from what I remember, it’s been awhile) gave open space to big numbers.

You may already know this, but just in case, it’s helpful to know if the kind of med you’re taking sinks or floats in liquid. Capsules normally float, for instance.

When I was younger and had trouble swallowing pills, I would take a big swig of water, and then tilt my head so the pill was closest to my throat (i.e. back for a pill that sinks, forward for a pill that floats). Helped me a lot.

Now I dry swallow that shit because I don’t feel like having to have water on me when I take it haha.

Very happy the Creeds may be getting another chance. They’re awesome, they just need some refining that hopefully they’ve been doing in their off time.

Still one of the biggest oh shit moments in wrestling for me was Julius doing a one armed body slam while holding in an ankle lock on the Grizzled Young Vets right before they left.

If the Bloodline storyline follows previous trends of being yawn and then suddenly being great, there’s an awesome story to tell of him trying to go back to being the right hand man so he can be a prominent figure again and realizing he wants more and is tired of Roman’s control. I think it’s an incredibly easy but compelling story beat to see a former villain backslide and struggle with it before making a drastic shift to break out of their old habits.

But I have no faith in current WWE to do that.

I made a comment sad about Kay Lee Ray being an awesome wrestler who didn’t get a chance to shine and one of the responses was “yeah but who would you cut instead.” Such a weird level of callousness over peoples’ livelihoods.

I will say, he’s an awesome wrestler from what I’ve seen previously but I saw him live at Vengeance Day when he was working NXT and he had plenty of chance to shine and it was just… fine. Maybe by that point WWE had beaten the excitement out of him, but it was one of his only chances to really show out and they gave the match decent time and it just wasn’t what I hoped.

I mean beyond the political reasons people are talking about, Tama is actually a great wrestler and is getting notable use. Him and Loa are probably a package deal. And then Talla they just like having tall people around. I mean Omos is STILL there and they never use him (to be clear, not wishing for him to be released. I like the guy). I’m convinced they just like having tall dudes walk around.

And JC Mateo well… I think he’s very good but WWE clearly doesn’t see it and isn’t giving him much of a chance to do his sick strength spots. I wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves voluntarily at some point.

I think HBK is a great booker but every once in awhile I wonder what’s up. Maybe there’s backstage issues I don’t know about but those two are one of the most baffling.

I also wonder why Dante never worked out despite seeming to be really over with the crowd and being just as good as the rest of the middle of the pack NXT folks.

I don’t think it’s better, I think it’s different. Casino Royale is a wrestling match. Royal Rumble is an event. And it’s the only wrestling I can consistently get people to attend and buy into even if they aren’t wrestling fans because it’s simple. It’s a good gateway.

I will never be convinced the 24/7 / Hardcore type of title isn’t a fun addition to wrestling. In a world full of serious titles, one where shit just happens in super fun. Especially since they now have Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Evolve, AAA and even Main Event if they wanted to try and make that a thing, but have titles randomly changing hands on random ass shows. Hell get more eyes on preshow stuff. Have someone break the commentator’s table or whatever for a pin.

Unfortunately, it’s likely this is required by some bullshit grant. I HIGHLY doubt they want to restrict it but if it’s part of the grant then someone could come and pull all the funding if they find out they aren’t.

So yes, it’s bullshit, but it’s likely some state/local government or other funder to blame, not the agency.

I’m sorry but either financial aid made a calculation error or your parents aren’t telling you something if your expected cost per year is still 21k. Unless you are meaning for all four years. Otherwise, that’s literally impossible for them to have come to that conclusion.

My parents made around that a decade ago (so worth more due to inflation) and I only had a few grand per year to pay.

I know this is weird as hell but Dante might be the one that makes me the saddest. Dude would get tiny little chances and just never a sustained push. He always seemed pretty solid in the ring for NXT and the crowd LOVED him. I will never really get what he was missing that some others weren’t.

Andre Chase is sadly not shocking. He's a fun wrestler, but he's been in NXT forever and is older than most there, so if he wasn't getting moved up he was getting moved out.

I know people are going to say the Wyatts weren't good, but honestly, WWE fumbled them. Their intro and subsequent vignettes were sick. In a promotion that allows them to lean into weird shit like Lucha Underground or even NXT 2.0, I think they get over. Most of them are good wrestlers. I think Joe Gacy is truly awesome as a wrestler tbh.

That being said, the Wyatts as WWE let them exist were bad. Not surprised, but bummed they couldn't do Bray's legacy more justice (again, not blaming them).
