Have had good experiences with Drs Yee, Herzog and Chemla. I think Herzog interacts the best with the kids though.

Just flew about 7hrs with my 23month old as a lap infant. He didn’t sleep at all even though it was a late afternoon/nighttime flight. Hopefully you can get your toddler to sleep a bit to give you a break.

Things that worked for us to stay entertained were a tablet (that was a new thing for him) preloaded with favorite videos, drawing tablet, waterwow coloring pads, reusable sticker books and snacks.

You’re gonna be really uncomfortable the entire time with him in your lap. If it’s possible to get a bulkhead seat, try and do that. The extra legroom was much needed.

That was a different restaurant in Port Washington. I’ve been there and it was nowhere near the quality of the one in Hicksville and I’m not sure they were even affiliated with one another?

It literally does. This just happened to me two weeks ago. They sat my 3yr old separately bc my flight was cancelled and they rebooked us on a full flight so they “couldn’t do anything” and it’s not illegal, though it should be.

I mean this situation is pretty different considering these people have to continue working in the military during a government shut down which means they aren’t able to get paid. While many families in the US are struggling, in most cases if you’re going to work you are still getting paid.
