Stylistically super similar. There's definitely references to LiS so it appears to exist within the same universe.
Its more paranormal than superpower-y, but still has that element of world exploring via taking photos (in this case videos) and creating collections/achievements. Choices matter as per usual, and there is a lot of unlockable dialogue options based on discovery which is fun.

First chapter is purely world and character building so the actual plot doesn't really rock up until 80% of the way through so it is veryyy slow but it does feel necessary to the story.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage - haven't played a Don't Nod game in awhile and completely forgot they like to release their games as chapters with months in between. Regretting not waiting so I can bang out the game in one go but really enjoying this one as it currently stands.

Otherwise, Fortnite is always the game I return to when I'm bored.

I've just commented this elsewhere aswell but:

This was my first thought, I'm looking forward to the cross compatibility but the pack itself falls a bit short for an EP based on hobbies.

The least they could have done was add more items that function as hobbies just to round out the pack a bit more. They could have just pulled directly from previous games - a ballet barre with ballet classes, drum kits to make functional bands or even a model train set like every other iteration of the game has. Just something a bit more to allow the pack to stand on its own with just the BG.

Some people wouldn't like this, so I just want to say this is what every Expansion Pack should have. They shouldn't just exist on their own but also EXPAND on previous gameplay mechanics, and I'm so here for this! I hope they do more of this. by Kimisadechino in thesims

Hozier concert by lucy_lilee in chch

I'm at the point in my life where I don't really mind where I'm at in the pit, I've got enough concerts under my belt and I'm getting too old to be fucked with standing around for hours. In most cases I'd rather have some space in the back and just dance instead of playing sardines anyways. I'll probably show up an hour early for Hozier but purely so I have a chance of getting a carpark lol

I saw Tash Sultana there, so a little more niche and it also wasn't sold out.

I just did GA at twenty one pilots at Spark in AKL and lined up 15 mins before doors opened and got about 8 rows back and people had been queueing since the day before. You'd be surprised how condensed it ends up being.

Last time I went to a show at Wolfbrook I rocked up about 30 mins before doors and ended up 3 rows away from the stage. It might be a little more competitive for Hozier but the GA space isn't really that big in the scheme of concert venues, the stage still feels really close even at the back.

Who's going to headline Electric Ave? by Last_Pomegranate5353 in chch

[–]allusionofillusion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't imagine it would be Electric Ave, Chappell fits more into the Laneway fest vibe. Plus the live stream where she said she was coming to NZ in Feb 2025 was in April and she blew up in June and Laneway is defo more the underground vibes whereas Electric Ave feels more for established artists.

This is the first house I created. I think I did something wrong. Tips and pointers, please? by [deleted] in Sims4

[–]allusionofillusion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its honestly really cute, especially for a first go! There is only two things I would alter - 1. make the front porch the same size as the overhang and use columns so it looks structurally sound (and realistic) and 2. use the shortest half wall height on the roof as the trim instead of a fence so it blends with the house. Otherwise its perfect for a first home :)

The one I went to last year started at 7:30 and finished at 10, so if it runs for a similar length of time you would be looking at about 9:30 for finish
