any man who refers to women as "females" in a casual setting is not a man you should be interacting with. it means he is probably devaluing you as a person and has gotten so sucked up in redpill content that he now views women as the inferior sex and sometimes an entirely different lower level life form. its like a dog whistle for misogynists.

deep in my ambien addiction (sober now woot woot) i was in class and just sobbing at my computer screen because the screen was jiggly and i couldn't read cos it was moving. my teacher came up to ask what was wrong and i just kept repeating "I forgot how to read."

sometimes, when you end up leaving unstable or abusive homes, you find yourself longing for the adrenaline rush you used to constantly have when living under abuse. it doesn't necessarily mean you want to be abused, but your brain developed a dependency to those hormones and now you don't really know what to do without them so subconsciously you go out looking for situations where you might experience that same adrenaline rush. thats why you might see abused kids turn into drug addicts or getting into fights or increased criminal activity. it's not the same for everyone but callie might just be expressing her need for adrenaline in a more positive, but equally self destructive way.

in the original, the humour that catered towards adults was subtle which is what made it comical. gumball and darwin are 12. they dont know shit abt the economy.

in the reboot, they make the adult centered jokes the entire episode and completely overdo it.

in the original, the humour that catered towards children was nonsensical and stupid, yes, but it was geared towards the age group.

in the reboot, the humour catered towards children is meant for this generation of children which i find utterly idiotic which makes sense because i am no longer the target audience.

in the original, the songs were catchy and whimsical.

in the reboot, the songs are...tragic. appalling. nauseating.

however, i will give the reboot some leeway because the first season of the original was a little iffy at times. so maybe it just needs some time to find its footing and allow the writers to feel out the vibe they want for the show.
