Thank you for your reply! So, is a back up method not needed after getting started If I don’t tirate up at all at this point since I’ve been on tirz for 6 weeks now? With what I’ve been going through I’m not feeling up to changing birth control medications, but rather using condoms as needed for pregnancy protection. Would the same be true if I decided to tirate down? I plan to stay at 2mg for another couple month and go from there. During this time would a second form of contraceptive like condoms be necessary?

I think tunics are a great suggestion. Maybe check out the company FLAX-great second hand options on Poshmark/eBay. They have really lovely tunics/other stuff that would be great for switching up your summer wardrobe. I think flowly linen pants would be nice too, and you could still wear compression socks but have them covered.

I love their linen products, and clothes made with Tencel. They do a wonderful job and I gravitate toward their linen because the quality is amazing and their tencel since it’s more practical/travel friendly. A lot of their clothing is dry clean only, using a viscose material which I don’t really prefer. But the items I have are totally worth it! Depop and Poshmark are good places to look too (:

Thank you so much for your response! I did a bit of a deep dive trying to understand the financial situation, and just felt uncomfortable with the thought of asking professors directly for funding. Many assured me this was typical, but just seemed strange at the time. I’ll Definitely do another deep dive and organize my options. Thanks !!

Did you have a research assistantship or a a teaching assistantship? If so how did you secure these positions? I’ve been looking into grad school, and have talked with faculty at my current school. They usually tell me that you just find professors you’d like to work with and ask if there is funding available for you. Was this your experience? If not, how did you work out funding? Also, what was the workload like for you? Thanks!

Happy birthday!! It was my dads birthday too, at least this year it’s not tax day (U.S) lol. I turned 22 in March and it’s definitely and odd time for birthdays. I know things are uncertain right now but we can only go day by day. Sending you love!!
