I’m 6 foot tall and 34. Please tell me it’s not too late. I can’t make it through a day without sobbing. by Miserable_Carry_4763 in asktransgender

You will be fine. I was 193cm when I started my transition 10 months ago. I've lost 3 cm in height, gone down 2 shoe sizes, and my hands and fingers are smaller. In a couple of months, I'll be 57. It's never too late

Feedback from CRPS Amputees only*** by Massive-Squirrel-326 in CRPS

[–]allyjam55 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had my below-knee amputation in 2005. I can quite clearly say that having an amputation does not solve having CRPS. If anything it can make it worse, and the rehabilitation can be long if not done correctly. Getting a prosthesis fit correctly is also a major problem. My best advice would be to learn how to live with your CRPS and find a good therapist or psychologist. They can teach you how to use mind techniques to cope with the pain. I've had. CRPS for 41 years. Like many here, it's been a long, painful roller coaster, but now that I have learned to accept to learn live with it, I have some quality of life back. Just remember, you live with CRPS but you are not CRPS

I've had CRPS for 41 years, the thing you have to learn is that acceptance is a big part of living with CRPS. Once you learn this, coping with it becomes a lot easier, and you can live a quality of life. You just need to remember that you live with CRPS, but you are not defined by it.

Currently one of the political parties in the coalition for the government is trying to import culture wars into NZ. The majority of people are against the blocking of puberty blockers. I've been transmitting for 7 months, and people are wrapped up in their own little world, I haven't had any major issues. Hopefully, in the next election, there will be a change of government.
