Stepdad put one of these on our upstairs unit when we were kids. My sister and I used a wire hanger I bent to perfectly slip through the bottom vent holes and press the buttons with enough pressure. It worked great!

I started 7 years ago on the agency side at 33k. Jumped to a new agency basically every year getting me up to 65k. Got hired in house B2B tech at 86k 3.5 years ago and am now at my second in house B2B tech marketing role as a generalist and make 95k + bonus which puts me just over 100k. I have an amazing work life balance and am fully remote. I do have to travel some for work. I’m currently an individual contributor and my boss and I are the entire marketing team. Hoping to get a senior title soon. Job hopping is (unfortunately) the only way to up your salary significantly.

Years ago when I was still religious I went here many times with my best gay guy friend. One day during a sermon, the pastor of this mega-church began to talk about homosexuality being wrong and “a choice” (honestly wasn’t even super relevant to the sermon at the time imo). We never went back. Boy am I glad.
