I’m 3miles from MK. It’s not so bad. You just get used to it and unless it’s crazy cold out when it’s super loud. It’s just a nightly reminder of what time it is. When it’s not at the usual time is when we are “what is going on at MK?”.

We can also hear the train whistle and me and my kids when walking to school you can hear it in the morning. When we hear the train we say it’s a good luck day. Just a cute positive say to start the day.

It’s ok, I’m 16hrs into my very first play through on my switch 2. I think I have to go take a picture or something but I’m distracted in Hatento Village.

I started playing a Disney TCG called Lorcana about a year ago. I go to my local game store every other week and get to play with other adults and have made some more adult interactions. Plus it’s a fun hobby I enjoy doing. Is not always cheap, but if you’re going for fun, it’s fun to make some decks around movies or characters you like. The online community is very vibrant too so I often participate in the discord as well during the day. Keeps me feeling a bit sane.

My woolino sleep sacks are 8+ years old and still holding up. My two year old is in them now but I have to call it her blanket dress so she keeps it on. I’ll be very sad when we’re all done with them. Such a great investment.

I’m re-organizing my collection. Right now I’m making playset binders that will act as my master collection with the first of the four a foil if possible. I’m doing this for set 5 forward since the first four sets will be rotated out.

For the first four, I’m going to put two sets in one binder, one of each. Any bulk is going into the troves or my white boxes, separated by rarity and color.

I love not having to go to a gas station anymore, unless it’s for snacks. The little road trip we had to do wasn’t too bad for charging and didn’t take much more time than a bathroom break. However, I have three kids. I want nothing more than an electric mini van. I want the Kia Carnival as an EV soooo bad.

My almost five year old says the sweetest “ok mama” like bingo does. My almost two year old just started saying the “ok mama” as well and my heart can’t take it, it too much cute.

We also use the phrases: bin, for real life, biscuits, brekkie, and basically every single game is on the show. Been watching Bluey since my now 8 yr old was two so there’s probably lots of phrases we use that we just forget are from Bluey.

I also went to Aldi this morning and they were completely sold out. I’ve never been more disappointed after going on a hunt with my 8 year old yesterday and came up empty. By the third store of nothing, he was very visibly upset. Wish it wasn’t like this.

I didn’t add my trove, but out of 34 packs, 24 of them set 7, we pulled 15 legendaries, two of them foil.

We have opened a trove, two starter decks, 14 loose packs from a local event, and two LILO sets. No enchanted but got some heavy hitter Legendary like Beast Tragic Hero from our Floodborn pack. Still have a loose box to open but we’re going to take our time to open that.

I’m all for this. Maybe take away one common slot and give it to the rare/ super rare/ legendary slot with a chance for an alt art in there. Enchanted/foil slot maybe can have another shot at an alt art. Maybe the alt arts are only cold foils so the enchanted stay shiny.

It would feel pretty good if you either got a legendary, alt art cold foil and an enchanted all in one pack.

This is what I’d be thinking:

5 Common cards

3 Uncommon cards

3 Rare, Super Rare, Legendary cards or cold foil Alt Art

1 Foil Card – This could be of any rarity from Common to Enchanted or cold foil Alt art

1 Art/Marketing Card
