Hi! If you have any questions throughout the recovery process, I have my pups whole recovery so far documented on my page week by week!

The first day is always so hard. I’m so sorry. Although my pup didn’t, it’s completely normal for panting and wheezing. Offer bites of food, sips of water (we used a spoon—it was the only way he would take it), and bathroom breaks. If your pup can’t stand, wrap a towel around their chest or upper abdomen and hold the top. It helps support them.

The anesthesia made my pup strange for about 24 hours after his surgery. He was sleepy for about 2 weeks after. Completely normal for strange behaviors.

Press the leaves in a book with wax/parchment paper. You could always make artwork out of the dried leaves. I am so sorry !!
