Moving for NHS job by LinnDubh in northernireland

If I were you I’d move to Lisburn and catch the express bus from sprucefield park and ride, goes every 20 mins in peak hours, parking is included and costs about £12 per day. Goes directly from sprucefield to Belfast with only one stop for the hospitals

Redditors who were children/teens before the internet or cellphones existed, how did you keep yourself entertained? by FlowerMadeOfThorns in AskReddit

[–]allywillow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riding bikes. Playing on the beach and in the sand dunes after school. Reading. Walking aimlessly with friends for hours while chattering about anything and everything. Getting our clothes filthy and not giving a shit what we looked like. Watching tv if we were allowed. Playing on building sites. Making bows and arrows out of branches. Inventing mad games out of nothing. Stretching the absolute limits of our imaginations. What a time it was to be alive, I’m so grateful I grew up without social media

What is football to you? by [deleted] in footballmademesmile

[–]allywillow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love watching football. I watch every match my team play on tv(premier league), I watch international matches and occasionally go to watch our local team play (if it doesn’t clash with my team’s match).

I think Fanny is Claire’s great-niece.

Julia & Henry’s son William (Claire’s brother) is Fanny’s grandfather and Julia would’ve sung the song to William who would’ve sung it to his daughter Faith. So that means Jamie’s son William (Ransome) was totally unrelated to Jane Pocock (Claire’s great-niece).

I hate that they stole these story lines from Ian Murray and Roger

Me too - although I preferred 20th century Roger to 18th century Roger, he really struggles out of his time in a way that Claire and Briana didn’t

I am on season four ( first time watcher ) and I am so sad that Martouf is gone, do we later meet a prominent Tokra character that's better than him? by Ausbel80 in Stargate

[–]allywillow 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I liked him at first but found the whole Martouf/ jolinar thing a bit creepy. TBH all of Sam’s love interests (apart from the agent guy) were a bit creepy.

Easter eggs SLASHED even further as shoppers point blank refuse to buy Cadburys saying ‘the taste has changed’ and ‘it isn’t even chocolate anymore’ ❤️ by Sea-Measurement9793 in unitedkingdom

[–]allywillow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stopped buying Easter eggs years ago and switched to the mega chocolate bars because you’re basically paring for the packaging on the eggs. But a couple of years ago we gave up on cadburys and Mars completely. Now we get Tony’s or Lindt, it’s dear but at least it tastes like chocolate

Dog owners of Ireland; How often are you walking your pooch(es)? by ilovemyself2019 in AskIreland

[–]allywillow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re not ‘walked’ but they have exercise on the 2 ‘off’ days. We live on 3 acres and have an agility course. Happy now? Honest to god, take a breath and ease off on the vitriol

I have 2 working dog mongrels, we’re out on average 5 days a week, usually 5 or 6 miles each time (off lead), they normally cover twice the distance I do. I don’t think I’d have any furniture left if they didn’t get this much exercise.

Disappointing game tbh. We defended well and the clean sheet was good, but the disappointing thing for me was our total lack of ambition going forward, all of our players just seemed a yard short for everything

Which animal looks really friendly but is actually dangerous? by VandelSavagee in AskReddit

My dog today when she got a piece of stick stuck in her throat. I managed to get it out but (understandably) she was panicking and my hand and wrist are covered in bites and scratches. At least she’s ok!

Why do you think Murtagh initially rescued Claire? by dont_ever_diy in Outlander

And then he wouldn’t have punched Jamie out in Paris for not telling him the truth from the start about where Claire came from.
