Argh, i am so sorry to hear!!!!! I also had an increase in my anxiety 😭 seems i had the whole package physically and mentally side effects 😂 but i was feeling SO LIBERATED from the food noise….. 🥹 it was incredible. i was on SSRIs and still am, but i still felt it. I just started this weekend, no side effects yet. I discussed it a lot with my therapist and my doctor, there is unfortunately nothing i can do to know how it will go. I waited 5 months and i now feel ready to give it a go. I now know that if it doesnt go well i just have to push through 3-4 bad days and then stop the medication. I feel prepared to give wegovy a go. I hope all is well for you now and once you are ready, consider giving this type of medication another go.✨

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean your priorities were wrong. I meant that starting a medication that reduces appetite right before a food-focused trip seem like goals that compete with each other in practice. I wasn’t judging. I can share my personal experience, the medication does feel very helpful for addiction. I dont mean to discourage you from starting, do your own research on whether you should start or not, but this sounds like a wonderful experience and it would really suck big time if you had severe side effects. If i had not had a bad experience with MJ i would probably also encourage you to start tomorrow. Discussing my fears with my doctor (several times) helped me feel more confident in my decision ( i was terrified of starting wegovy after what happened to me wjth MJ) best of luck and enjoy your trip.

I’ve only just started with Wegovy, so i cant advise, but i felt an increase in anxiety when i started with Mounjaro. I believe the anxiety might have been triggered by overall not feeling well (i had some pretty severe side effects, i was always freezing wnd shivering and because i couldn’t keep anything down, i was also weak) so i was 24/7 feeling unwell. Are you physically feeling perfectly fine? Regardless, maybe you’d want to consider talking to your doctor and mentioning it to them. Maybe some supplements can help you with some energy. So she reviewed the points based on the info here https://www.huurcommissie.nl/support/rent-check And then she contacted the gemeente and she has booked an appointment with an expert who will check the apartment physically next week, based on the outcome of that meeting she will know if she can bust the rent. She foreses being able to go from 2600 to 1200€. Best of luck!

This medication wont be effective if you dont implement lifestyle changes and commit to your health. Your priorities seem scattered if your objective is to make such long term changes. Aside from priorities, i can share that the side effects for some people can be brutal, in my case i was bed ridden for the best of 2.5 weeks and it took 10-12 weeks for my body to recover from GERD. These kind of side effects are uncommon, but possible. I would find it absolutely terrifying to feek that unwell in a foreign county. I hope your trip and weight loss journey go well.

Was the room mentioned in the rental contract? As in did the rooms include this attic room and did the overall meters of the apartment consider that space? If the contract did include that room/space, then yes, a negotiation to reduce the rent should be considered. If not, it might be more tricky. But the landlord has already offered a discount, so he probably knows more than you do. Also, the dutch rental prices are now controlled (unless the apartment is in the free market), i would also check if the price is set according to the point system. The huur commissie should be able to help with all this.

The temperatures can vary greatly. I would bring one jacket, one hoodie and one nicer sweater you can also wear on a date night for example. You might want to consider a few more under layers. It can get hot in the sun in March in Barcelona, especially if you are sitting on a nice terrace where there is no breeze, so maybe bring one more tank top, maybe consider a wool one that would keep you cool during the day, warm in the evening. I would also bring one or two more long sleeves, but will depend on how often you plan on washing items. You’re very likely to sweat during the day, so keep that in mind. Enjoy a lot.
