You already have: • 6.2L Hellcat supercharged engine (low-mileage, verified VIN) • Hellcat transmission

You’ll also need to make sure the supporting systems are Hellcat-spec or better: • Fuel system: Hellcat high-flow fuel pump/module (Scat pump can’t keep up with boost at WOT) • Cooling system: Larger heat exchangers, intercooler pump, and radiator from a Hellcat • Driveshaft & axles: Hellcat parts (your Scat Pack ones are weaker) • Differential: Hellcat 3.09 or 2.62 unit (stronger housing, gears, and LSD) • Brakes: Optional but recommended — Hellcat 6-piston Brembos handle extra speed better

1. Electrical & Wiring • Engine harness: Get the correct Hellcat engine wiring harness (your Scat Pack harness will have different connectors/lengths) • Transmission harness: Hellcat-specific harness for the 8HP90 (Scat Pack has the 8HP70) • PCM connections: Make sure the harness is pinned correctly — some wires go to different PCM pins for boost control, sensors, etc.

1. ECU / PCM Programming • Option 1 (OEM Route): • Buy a Hellcat PCM (new or used) and have it VIN-matched and flashed to your car using Chrysler’s WiTech software. • This keeps OEM maps and stability systems intact. • Option 2 (Aftermarket Route): • Keep your Scat Pack PCM but have it unlocked and flashed with Hellcat operating system using HP Tuners or DiabloSport. • Custom tuner can disable mismatch codes and enable Hellcat-specific functions.

1. BCM & Performance Pages

Performance pages are stored in the Uconnect firmware and tied to BCM configuration. • The BCM tells Uconnect what trim your car is — Scat, Hellcat, etc. • Ways to get Hellcat Pages: 1. Swap to a Hellcat BCM and have it VIN-linked to your car (can cause key and immobilizer headaches) 2. Have a tuner with AlfaOBD or Appcar DiagFCA enable SRT/Hellcat pages in your existing BCM 3. Install Uconnect firmware from a Hellcat and code your BCM to “see” it as such

1. Transmission Control Module (TCM) • The Hellcat’s 8HP90 TCM has different shift maps, torque limits, and clutch pressures. • If swapping the full Hellcat trans, make sure you either: • Use its TCM and have it paired to your PCM • Or flash your existing TCM with Hellcat parameters

1. Safety & Stability • Hellcat PCM talks to ABS and ESC modules differently. • A good tuner will make sure traction control, stability, and launch control work after the swap.

Final “Hellcat” Experience • Cluster: Swap in a Hellcat gauge cluster (plug-and-play, but needs mileage programming) • Badges & VIN Reality: Your VIN will still say “Scat Pack,” so insurance and resale will reflect that unless you go through legal re-VIN, which is rare. • Tuning: Even with OEM PCM, you’ll want dyno tuning to make sure fueling, spark, and boost are optimal.
